The Beechcomber HN2487 for Royal Doulton design by Mary Nicoll 1973-1976, rare figures have the 1972 stamp to base which this example has, the figure of rugged seasoned fisherman sitting on a sack with shell in his hand. Notable for the Matt biscuit glaze finish rarely found on Royal Doulton figures.
